A.P.K. – that’s Attention Please, Kids (Ric’s exclusive)

We’ve been flat-tack introducing a lot of firsts this year…Why? You might ask. Well, it’s because we’ve been busier than ever before, and we wanted to give something back to all of you Rics Kids! Yep! it’s our way of thanking all of you for making us one of the busiest bars and nightclubs in Brisbane! Not to mention one of the top craft beer pourers in town. 😜🍻

One of these firsts is your very own Ric’s Kids Choice Awards which kicks off on New Year’s Eve in THE ONE AND ONLY Ric’s Backyard in the heart of Fortitude Valley. Known as one of the most iconic, incubator venues showcasing garage bands in Brisbane, we decided it was time to host an event specifically to celebrate the new talent that has graced our stages this year. So from now on, we will host the annual Ric’s Kids Choice Awards on New Years Eve.

We’ve invited 3 of the best live acts we’ve had this year to perform at the Ric’s Kids Choice Awards 2022. You will then get to decide who gets crowned  as your very first Ric’s Kids Choice Award recipient!!!! Voting will take place on the night via our insta page @ricsbar after all the bands have performed.

Because this will now become an annual thing, it means YOU will get to pick next year’s top 3 bands, who will then battle it out at year’s end. So, make sure to come to as many gigs as possible throughout 2023 and keep notes on your faves!
