We launch Ric’s Bar DJ Comp Heats – Upstairs every Thursday this week! (on top of Brisbane’s beloved Karaoke Bar)

Ric’s has welcomed, hosted, and supported countless live garage bands for decades in the heart of the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This year we’re adding DJs to the mix!!

Now that our hopefuls have made it through the submissions round, the heat begins for their quest to be Ric’s DJ Champ and a $1000 cash prize during the finals night!!!

How do they win? It will be a combination of a points system and a popular vote. Our judges will score you, while our beloved Ric’s Kids get to vote live via our insta stories! These two will then be combined to determine our first-ever winner!

So come and get amongst it with your usual affordable student deals. Dance the night away, have your say, and down a few (too many) local and craft beers or cocktails.
